Friday Docs

Make your website AI-native.

Friday is an AI assistant you embed on your site. She answers visitor questions and — when you let her — takes actions on the page on their behalf. These docs cover the three install paths, the things you'll want to configure, and how Friday actually works under the hood.

If you're just looking to get going, start with Install on WordPress or Install on any HTML site.

Install on WordPress
One-click install with the Sitepilot plugin.
Install on any HTML site
Paste a single script tag.
Action policy
Decide what Friday is allowed to do — and when she has to ask.
How the scanner works
What Friday sees on a page, and how to hide things from her.
FAQ
Top questions from visitors and site owners.
Troubleshooting
When Friday doesn't load, picks the wrong action, or stalls.

Three ways to run Friday

  • On your own site — Sitepilot plugin (WordPress) or a single script tag (everywhere else).
  • Friday Operator — a Chrome extension that brings the same assistant to any website you visit, per-domain.
  • API — talk to the Extremis chat API directly. Useful if you're building a custom surface. (Docs coming.)

Status

Friday is in active development. The free tier is 500 messages / workspace / month. The Sitepilot plugin is currently under WordPress.org review — install via .zip in the meantime. Things may move; we keep this page current.
